We were actually there for the 4th of July and had a grand time. There were countless signs about the Tsunami that hit the city in 1964. I laughed at the water level, \u00a0just hitting over my head, not really comprehending what it would really mean to have water destroy a town that I inhibited and shoot fear into my life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hbadventure.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/Hannah-2-of-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5083\" title=\"Hannah  (2 of 2)\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hbadventure.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/Hannah-2-of-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"299\" height=\"448\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Now, a few years later Japan&#8217;s earthquake brought tsunami warnings to places that hold people I know and love, not to mention the horrific devastation that the quake caused in Japan.
