I came outside, after putting Maggie to bed, to find Audrey standing (SUPing) on the picnic table and screaming in delight in her jammies! I had already had a different photo ready from this morning, but this light was too good to pass up…coupled with her happy mood. I think she secretly likes the time that she gets with us after Maggie goes to bed. We had her 6month appointment today: 26 3/4 inches and 17 lbs. At this age Maggie was 1/4 of an inch taller and one pound heavier.
A few weeks ago I ordered a sunsuit for Maggie from The Measure Designs after I’d been drooling over them for weeks on end. A couple days after it arrived, we went down to the beach to watch the ferry come and go and roll in the sand. The light was astounding and Maggie was beside herself with the crashing waves. We stayed until the sun went down, changed in to jammies in the car and stopped at the ice cream shop on our way home. It wasn’t until 10 o’clock that we pulled into our driveway….sandy, covered in ice cream. Although we were only a couple miles from our home, the beach and ice cream combo made it feel like we were on vacation…..enjoy the adorable sunsuit pictures.
