Spring Break

Ahhhhhhh………Spring Break 2010 has commenced and boy, I am ready for it. I don’t have much planned – except that I could have a baby. I don’t think that I will, but I could.

Instead I’m going on a mini vacation with Barry and Sydney to the big, crazy town of Port Townsend (Wahoo!)

I’m also going to A-Town to hang out at Camp Janet.

I bet I’ll find myself baking, cooking and  swimming.

I’ll probably do some rearranging around HBHQ as well, since that is what pregnant people, that could have a baby over their Spring Break, do.

8 o’clock

I kid you not, we went to bed last night at 8 o’clock.

It was just that kind of day.

People joke that not being able to sleep is Mother Nature’s way of preparing us for having a baby.

I say we need our sleep now.

So, we went to bed at 8 o’clock and snoozed the night through.

Don’t judge, we woke up rested.

Spring

It is really starting to feel like Spring around here. Each day it seems like another burst of color appears in our backyard, some of which we planted and some of which we didn’t.

I know that my mom came and stuck a bunch of things in the ground and for that I am so grateful, the tiny buds forming just make me happy to see.

I also know that the squirrels did a bit of rearranging last year after we planted some tulips, so now we’ve got tulips coming up in random places – like the middle of our yard.

I’m just thankful that the flowers are starting to put on a show….finally!
