D-Bomb & Bri

We don’t get to see Darcy and Brian as much as we’d like, but when we do we always end up having a great time. After the wedding we all found ourselves in our PJs sitting around Barry’s parent’s living room and I’m pretty sure that I laughed so hard I cried.

Darcy shared some classic stories from their East Coast travels and I retold the story of Barry climbing over me Christmas Day to get up and open his stocking while I continued to sleep, oblivious that the rest of the household was awake enjoying the holiday.

We’re going camping with them in a few weeks and I am certain that we’ll create a few more memories that we can laugh about down the road.

The Tall Short End of It….What? Exactly.

1. This picture of us with Barry’s parents, grandparents and brother makes me laugh because Linda, Darcy and I look like teeny tiny people compared to the men.

2. I always forget that I’m short until someone points it out or I see a picture of myself standing next to a tall person.

3. I really like tall people. One of my BFFs, Kara, is super tall and she tends to pat me on the head or grab my shoulders, a habit that developed during years of spending our days together.

4. I had to write bullet points for this post because it has taken me almost a million hours to finish it and I’m not even sure if this is worthy of the publish button…oh, well.

5. Dressing up fancy when you have a baby really means that you have to wear something that can go well with spit up.

6. Blah!!!!!

Happy Saturday!!

We’re off to Ferndale to go to Barry’s cousin’s wedding, but I just had to share this picture of Maggie and her BFF Thomas.

Thomas came to visit because he likes riding in the car.

The same can’t be said for my daughter.

Oh, well.

Happy weekend!!
