Last night I was driving home from the gym and heard the audio of this recording of a father and daughter on the radio. It seemed like it was so full of joy that when I got home I decided to check it out. I love how the little girl has a bit of bed-head and they way she has her arm draped on her dad. So cute!! Ever since last night I’ve had the image and song stuck in my head. Hopefully it’ll brighten your day a bit to see this.
Mind the Gap
Maggie has four teeth and is working on a fifth – possibly a sixth – right now. I love it when she gives us huge smiles because she has a huge gap between her top two chompers. Barry offers her a ‘cold one’ when she starts to get fussy to soothe away any of the teething pain. For the most part she hasn’t been too fussy, which I’m thankful for.
We’re wondering if the gap will stick around, and if it does then yahoo! If not, I’ll be a bit sad to see it go because it adds so much to her already cute smile.
In other news, Thomas called and told us that his camera is broken, so his blog will be back up and running in no time. He also challenged Maggie to a crawl-off. She’s training as this goes to press, so be ready!!!
Photo Overload
I finally got a chance to look at some of the photos that I took from Joe and Claire’s wedding. I noticed a few things:
- My camera died and so I didn’t really get to take many photos at all. Plus, Maggie and I skipped out on most of the ceremony because it was hush-hush and Mags wasn’t feeling like being quiet. She left with my mom shortly afterwards.
- I handed my camera to lots of people and so I’m in quite a few photos.
- I didn’t take any photos of the actual wedding set up. Joe and Claire did a spectacular job and I didn’t document any of it…I don’t even have a picture of Claire.
- We’re a smiley bunch.
