Our morning started with a walk and some peppermint hot chocolate.

After our walk Barry announced that he might like to be Darth Vader for Halloween*.

*Barry has not seen Star Wars
Barry has never seen Star Wars? How could a person in today’s society not have seen Star Wars? That’s an injustice! I’m outraged! Oh, wait, I’ve never seen any of the Star Wars movies wither. Right on Barry!
Don’t tell Dave about him never seeing Star Wars…he may immediately force Barry to sit on our couch and watch all of them one after the other, because you know Dave has them all!
I suppose actually seeing the movies would be a prerequisite for dressing as Darth Vader for Halloween.
My original idea was to dress up as “Jack” the owner of Jack in the Box, but Hannah didn’t want to go as “The King” from Burger King. I even offered that she could be “Wendy”, but she didn’t like that any better.
Those are GREAT costume ideas! (Not the King, so much, but Wendy and Jack!) Really Hannah? You’d rather be Princess Leia?
What I really, really want to be is Batman and Robin. Of course I’d be Batman and Barry would be Robin. He wants to be Batman just as much as me, so it is an obvious point of contention.
ok 1. Luke wanted to be jack from jack in the box too so we better be discussing this
2. We got Carter his Yoda costume this weekend so this should be a fabulous Halloween
3. No wonder we’re friends…..Luke LOVES batman too
