Bullet Point Tuesday

  • Is Tuesday turning into the new Monday? It feels like it with the whirlwind day that we’ve had. I can’t go into details because some of our activities today dealt with Christmas presents for Maggie’s peeps. That’s all I’ll say.
  • At our house last night Maggie decided to stand up on her own. I’m not even kidding. She went from her Downward Dog pose, to squatting, to full on standing. I was shocked, pumped, excited and a bit scared all at the same time. Scared because, again, our life is about to change.
  • Last night Chaya and Brian’s house got smashed by some trees. While they were home. SO scary. Everyone is fine, but it looked like their Christmas tree did not survive. When Maggie and I stopped by their house today my uncle Steve was hauling Chach’s suitcase over huge trees to their car. It was an odd sight because you don’t typically see a flowered suitcase in the middle of a forest.
  • Both Chaya and Brian’s cars did not survive, I’m not even sure if their toilet survived. I’m just glad they are okay.
  • We’re going to decorate for Christmas at HBHQ tonight….or at least pull out our Christmas boxes. Our tree needs some decorating!
  • We’re pretty much thisclose to Christmas and Maggie is going to meet Santa this Friday….yahooey!
  • If Tuesday is new Monday what does that mean Wednesday is? Can Wednesday be the new Friday?

Yard Work Looks A Bit Different Around Here Now

I was motivated yesterday to attempt to rake some of our leaves and get them out of the fish pond and decided that it wasn’t raining too bad to try and get a bit done. Maggie was a great sport about it and by the time we were back inside, I noticed that Maggie had dirt all over her face and up her sleeve. Turns out she enjoyed helping a bit too.

On a side note, Sydney came outside for about two seconds before she went and sat by the door demanding to be let back inside. She is such a weather snob! When I finally let her back inside she proceeded to sit and look at us from the inside. Snooty Pup!

Last night I had a hard time falling asleep and it was the strangest feeling because every other member of HBHQ were sawing logs and I was just twiddling my thumbs wishing to be asleep. Now Maggie is taking her third nap of the day and I’m working on a typing project for 3G.

No sleep = blah, blah, blah.

So, blah!
